Morgan’s Choc Chip Cookies

120g butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1tsp vanilla essence

1 egg

1 & 3/4 cup self raising flour

125g dark choc chips


Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Cream butter & sugars. Add vanilla & egg. Beat until fluffy. Add sifted four & choc chips. Mix together using your hands. Roll into small balls and place on greased shallow baking tray (leave space as they spread). Cook until just brown (approx. 12 mins). Take out & cool on tray.

Note: it’s better to take cookies out when still soft so they are less crunchy when they cool.
